Junior Competitive

Our Junior Competitive teams participate in Football Queensland’s South Coast competitions, fielding sides across all age groups from U13 to U18. We’re dedicated to helping young players develop their skills, foster teamwork, and enjoy the challenges of competitive football. 

2026 Junior Competitive (U13–U18) Fees

• 12 Kangaroos: $880

• 13-18 JL: $885

These fees cover:

• All association fees (Football Federation Australia, Football Queensland, and Football Gold Coast)

• Referee fees

• All match-day fees

• Coaches

• Playing kit (shirt and shorts) to keep

• GCCC Right of Use fee (club pays annual fee for field usage)

• Electricity and lighting for the clubhouse and fields

• Insurance expenses

• Club administration fees

• Field marking and maintenance

• Provision of equipment (balls, bibs, goals, etc.)

JL Players:
Mandatory attendance required for U13–U15 players, who are automatically enrolled in the Xcel Academy for additional player development.

Playing Uniform

All players are required to wear the Ormeau Football Club official shirt, which will be provided by the club to keep.

Players will also receive club socks and plain black shorts as part of their registration fee.

Training and Playing Times

Training times and days are typically determined by the availability of the coach. While we strive to accommodate everyone, this may not always be possible. Training days and times will be confirmed in the next two weeks.

Match Days:

• U13, U14, and U15: Matches are usually held on Saturday mornings.

• U16 and U18: Matches are typically held on Friday nights.

• Match times and locations may vary each week (both home and away matches).

• Home matches will be held at Norfolk Park, Ormeau.

• Fixtures will be released by Football Queensland South Coast closer to the start of the season.
