
At Ormeau Football Club, the safety, wellbeing, and welfare of our players, families, volunteers, and staff are a priority. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy football with confidence and respect.
Our club Welfare Officer is Natalie Brims, who can be contacted at welfare@ormeaufc.au for any welfare-related concerns, support, or guidance. All communication is treated with professionalism and confidentiality.
Ormeau FC has first aid resources available onsite to assist with injuries and medical situations during training and match days.
To access the larger first aid kit, please speak with a ground official, committee member, or canteen staff member.
Player safety is a key priority, and all injuries requiring formal reporting should be documented as soon as possible.
If an injury occurs that requires reporting, please complete the Injury Report Form OFC INJURY report and either:
First aid kits are available in both the equipment room and club office, with injury ice bags accessible from the equipment room.
Prompt reporting helps us ensure appropriate follow-up, record keeping, and player welfare support.
Ormeau FC is more than just a place to play football—it is a community where children, young people, and families should always feel safe, supported, and respected.
If you feel a child may be at risk in any way, please contact our Welfare Officer at welfare@ormeaufc.au so appropriate support or assistance can be provided. All correspondence is handled in strict confidence.
Ormeau Football Club complies fully with Queensland Blue Card legislation.
All club volunteers and employees who work with children are required by Queensland Government legislation to hold a valid Blue Card before commencing any club duties.
Compliance is monitored through the club’s Blue Card Register and is reviewed regularly by the Welfare Officer, including monthly monitoring and annual compliance reviews.

If you have concerns regarding safety, welfare, team conduct, or disciplinary matters, please contact welfare@ormeaufc.au so we can assist in ensuring club standards remain at the highest level.
For non-injury incidents, including unacceptable behaviour, harassment, bullying, or disciplinary concerns, please complete the Incident Report Form INCIDENT REPORT FORM and email it to welfare@ormeaufc.au.
