About

Ormeau Football Club was established in 2013 when a passionate group of local parents stepped up to meet the needs of their expanding community. Partnering with local council, they transformed a deserted baseball diamond at Norfolk Park into a vibrant sporting hub.

What began as a modest operation with just 150 children across the Under 6 to Under 12 age groups has grown exponentially. Today, the club is proudly one of the biggest sporting clubs on the northern Gold Coast and supports more than 1,300 players spread across 80+ teams, offering pathways from introductory MiniRoos and junior divisions right through to competitive senior leagues.

This success is fuelled by the unwavering commitment of committee members, coaches, volunteers, and families who together foster a welcoming, inclusive, and family-oriented environment. To match this rapid growth, the club has continually enhanced its infrastructure, culminating in the opening of a brand-new clubhouse at Norfolk Park in 2025.
